Because it is only online play, I didn't have the ability to get used to the game mechanics via playing a campaign. But overall, I really enjoy this game. I never play ranked though, only unranked because I can't stand waiting for the round to finish. A game I play more for fun than competition. I have always loved the third-person perspective of SOCOM games, it gives it a nice tactical feel that sets it apart from FPSs.
